A decision was made to repeat the event at the conclusion of our March business meeting on Saturday the 9th.
Auction items, donated by members and friends, can include Pies, Cakes, Quilts, Handiwork, Big Boy’s and Girl’s Toys as well as Little Boy’s and Girl’s Toys, and Books. Anything from A to Z. Check out the picture from last year’s auction to get an idea of what people brought. The picture includes our auctioneers, Herb Jankovich and John Moore. You can bet they’ll be prepared for an even bigger auction this year.
Start looking at home for things to bring. Remember that item you bought 2 years ago because you were sure you could use it; and never did. Or those Christmas gifts you purchased in the spring and then forgot all about in December. Or you received a sweater that was the wrong size and never wore it. Here’s the place to find someone else who can use or wear the item.
Don’t forget about sharing your baking, woodworking, knitting, sewing or maple syrup making talents. Something made by hand is always special.
